Action on Pre-Eclampsia (APEC)

Action on Pre-eclampsia (APEC) is a UK charity that aims to raise public and professional awareness of pre-eclampsia, improve care, and ease or prevent physical and emotional suffering caused by the disease.
Please find the link to their website with useful information here.

The below video has been designed by women for women to explain what pre-eclampsia is, how a risk assessment for it takes place, and taking low dose aspirin for prevention if you have risk, in support with the APEC Charity.

STARshiP Questionnaire

We believe it is important to include the views of the people like yourselves who could receive the new FMF test in the future if the research shows it could be helpful. The STARshiP study would like to invite people with experience of pre-eclampsia risk testing to complete a short online questionnaire. It is just 21 questions long and should take no more than 10 minutes to answer. It asks about your experience of pre-eclampsia risk testing and how this may have affected your pregnancy and birth experience. There is also the option to opt-in for a second follow-up questionnaire for anyone who is pregnant at the time of completing the questionnaire.

Public Database

The STARshiP study is registered on ISRCTN (a public database) with reference number: 71774663
